With only 8 days to the 2020 general election, there are few who have not made up their mind as to how they will vote. That is fine. The important thing is to vote and early voting is in full swing with almost 60 million early votes already cast. This election will likely set records, not just for early voting as people attempt to avoid the large crowds during this crisis, but due to the unprecedented interest generated for the disparate issues brought to the forefront during the campaigns.
Everyone seems to have an opinion and everyone wants to show, this year more than ever, their support for candidates and the issues. It is not clear what electoral demographics are moving to vote this which have not voted in past years, but the outcome of the election will likely be a result of voters who have finally decided their vote is worth casting.
Early voting is in full swing in most precincts. If you are registered, we urge you to get out early and avoid long lines and delays on election day. Show your support for your candidates and the issues you believe in. Don't let your vote be one of the votes held up due polls closing when people are still in line. If you plan to mail in a ballot get it done immediately so it does not arrive late or drop it off in person at any of the polling places.
Get Out To Vote and have your vote count.
